Cylindrical lenses

Cylindrical lenses can be used to focus light into a thin line in the applications of scanning, spectroscopy, laser diode, acousto-optic, optical processing, and others. Cylindrical lenses can also be used to expand the output of a laser diode into a symmetrical beam.
